Petra

Petra is an ode to the Mediterranean cradle, told through metal and gemstones. Natural colored gemstones Lapis, carnelian, tiger’s eye, and chrysoprase are cut into simple cabochons and drops, held within gold and silver settings. In some pieces the metal prevails, in others the gemstone comes forward, its natural shades and imperfections on full display. Forms draw lightly on the Hellenistic world: spirals, small animal motifs and beads create a quiet nod to antiquity within a contemporary vocabulary.
