Sterling silver and Gold Vermeil
- Avoid using water or chemicals to clean your jewelry. Instead, use a soft, nonabrasive cloth with a drop of natural oil.
- Wear your sterling silver jewelry regularly. If not worn for a long time, silver can tarnish. If tarnishing is very severe, you can rub the piece with a drop of dish soap or nonabrasive toothpaste and then rinse with water
- Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions or any chemical cosmetics.
- Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, saunas or sulfur baths. Avoid contact with chlorine, sand and salt water to prevent tarnishing.
- Remove jewelry before doing any exercise and before sleeping to avoid accidental damage.
- Store the jewelry away from any exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures, ideally in a padded jewelry box or tarnish-resistant bag. You can also keep these in individual airtight plastic (polyethylene) bags.Avoid keeping it in a bathroom or any humid locations!
- Avoid packing two pieces of jewelry together as it can cause scratches and damage.

Solid Gold
- You can keep your jewelry for showering and bathing.
- To clean the jewelry, use a soft, non-abrasive cloth with a drop of dish soap and rinse with water.
If the surface changes over time, we will be happy to re-polish your jewelry and make it shinier or more matt to restore it to its original finish.
Diamonds and Gemstones
At LMJ, we work with both natural and lab-grown diamonds, always responsibly sourced. To keep their brilliance, avoid direct contact with perfumes, cosmetics, and household chemicals. When needed, simply clean your gemstones with a soft, damp cloth.
